Carmen lost 123 pounds with Gastric Bypass

I am writing to let you know of my life changing experience with bariatric surgery. My primary doctor was treating me for chronic asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and spinal problems. I could not bend down to tie my shoes or walk a short distance. I felt sick all the time. I had gastric bypass in 2005 with Dr. Bass. He has become my guardian angel. Everyone in Dr Bass’s office has been wonderful and supportive. The nurses and staff at Memorial Regional Hospital were amazing. They took such good care of me. I felt safe and cared for by everyone involved in this process.

Today, I am a 57 year old woman who weighs 108lbs. I am active, all my health problems are gone and I take only vitamins. I can’t thank everyone enough for giving me my life back, expecially Dr. Bass who is my walking angel. I pray for him every night to to give him the knowledge to keep on helping so many people like me.
