The Good and the Bad

The use of intermittent fasting in weight loss programs receives a lot of positive attention because the process does indeed work in helping you to lose pounds quickly. However, this type of weight loss method does not lead to the type of sustainable weight loss results that you are looking for when you turn to medical weight loss programs. While you may lose weight at first, this type of dietary program is not sustainable long-term, and this means that you are likely to gain the weight back in the end.
